In 2016, Shanghai Qingpu World Foreign Language School (Primary and Middle School) was founded; in 2017, Shanghai Qingpu World Foreign Language Kindergarten was established; and in 2024, Shanghai Qingpu World Foreign Language High School officially started enrolling students.
In September 2025, Shanghai Fengxian World Foreign Language School will officially open. As a directly affiliated school of Shanghai World Foreign Language Education Group, it will be established in accordance with the high standards of Shanghai Qingpu World Foreign Language School. The new school will adopt the same curriculum, management, faculty, standards, and advancement path, showcasing its educational characteristics and quality requirements of special talents, sustainability, and service.
The Qingpu World Foreign Language Education system provides comprehensive educational services for all age groups, from infancy to 18 years old, achieving a seamless K-12 education system. Ms. Echo, the Vice Principal and Head of the Integration Department at Shanghai Qingpu World Foreign Language School, presented the integrated curriculum to the parents of WFL Kindergartens. She explained that the curriculum breaks down traditional subject barriers through a transdisciplinary approach, integrating language, mathematics, natural sciences, arts, and social studies into a cohesive learning environment. Our approach draws inspiration from advanced international educational concepts, all guided by core competencies. Shanghai Qingpu World Foreign Language Kindergarten was officially authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) and became an IB World School on February 14, 2020.
